✨🎓 Senior Spotlight: Claire Hartman Last but not least, today we are featuring our lovely senior, Claire Hartman. Claire is graduating from Gibsonburg High School this year. Claire is dancing the role of Swanhilda’s friend in Coppélia. Claire has been dancing for 15 years, all of those years at the Fremont Ballet School. After graduating, Claire plans to work as a CNA. When asked about her favorite memory at FBS, her response was dancing as Rudolph at the Christmas show every year! Claire, it’s hard to believe you are finally here! You have accomplished so much over the past decade and a half at the ballet school. You have overcome obstacles, grown your artistry and technique, and become a wonderful friend and role model to those around you. We are so proud of the young woman you have become, and we can’t wait to cheer you on wherever life takes you next. ✨🎓 Senior Spotlight: Annaliese Rogers Today’s senior is Annaliese Rogers, who is graduating from Perkins High School. Anna has danced for 15 years and at FBS for 7 years. In Coppélia, Anna is dancing the role of Swanhilda. After graduation, she plans to attend Slippery Rock University to double major in Dance Performance and Choreography and Early Childhood Education. When asked about her favorite memory at FBS, Annaliese said, “My favorite memory is doing pinkie prayer before every show! It’s a really special tradition that we all have to encourage each other for our performance; I’ve loved getting to do that with my best friends and it’s something I’ll always remember.” Anna, we are so proud of all you have accomplished in the past 7 years with us. We watched you fall in love with ballet, make life-long friendships, and work hard to develop your technique and artistry. You started your dance journey with FBS around the same time I was starting my personal journey with FBS, and I can’t thank you enough for trusting us and growing with us. ✨🎓 Senior Spotlight: Braelyn Robertson Today’s senior we are featuring is Braelyn Robertson. Braelyn is graduating from Fremont Ross High School this year. In Coppélia, Braelyn is dancing the role of Swanhilda’s friend. She has danced 14 years, and 11 of those years were at the Fremont Ballet School. After graduation, she will be attending BGSU and majoring in psychology with an interest of pediatric psychology. When asked about her favorite memory with us, she said, “My favorite memory at the FBS was dancing downtown for the christmas show and singing the 12 days of Christmas. I felt so happy to be with my friends.” Braelyn, we are so proud of you! Throughout your years at FBS, you have learned to work hard to achieve your goals despite hurdles, you have been a friend to many, and have grown to be a strong, confident, and lovely young woman. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for you, and we will be cheering you on every step of the way. 🎓✨ Senior Spotlight: Sophia Garnica Today’s senior we are featuring is Sophia Garnica, graduating from Gibsonburg High School. Sophia has been dancing at the Fremont Ballet School for 15 years. Her role in Coppélia is one of Swanhilda’s friends. Her plans after graduation are to go to Miami University and Major in Business Analytics and minor in arts management, and she says she would love to work at an art museum as marketing manager one day! When asked about her favorite memory at the ballet school, she said, “My favorite memory at FBS is not a single moment, but the week of the show week is always so much fun. Everyone is so excited, and being able to dance on the stage at Old Fort is so much fun! Seeing everyone being there for eachother and helping one another makes the environment so special. It’s a really bittersweet feeling knowing that this will be my last spring show ever.” Sophia, it has been an honor watching you grow from a tiny ballerina to the beautiful young woman you are today. You work so hard to reach your goals and your perseverance is admirable. You are an extremely important part to the FBS family, and we can’t wait to watch you continue to reach for your dreams and goals in the future.
